Shirley Wecker has always had a love for children. Her mission began shortly after she lost her loving ninety-eight year old mother, Elizabeth, in 2005. Elizabeth’s time in a nursing home inspired Shirley to share kindness and compassion for children, seniors, and anyone with special needs.

The mission of Lambs of Love is to share the love of God by providing a small plush lamb that has the embroidery inscription “God loves me” as a reminder that no one loves us more than God and His love endures forever. We visit hospitals and nursing homes to share the special message of hope to individuals who are looking for comfort including children and adults who are dealing with a serious illness or loss.

The recipients will receive a Lambs of Love lamb as a free gift to brighten their day with “God loves me” as a message of comfort.

Each Lambs of Love lamb arrives with a bookmark, special tag, brief story of our mission and a brochure with God’s Biblical promises to give hope when all seems impossible. Revelation 7:17 says “For the Lamb in the midst of the throne will be their Shepard, and He will guide them to springs of living water; and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. ”

Friends, there is hope! It is God’s promise to remove our pain and restore our joy someday. It is God’s intended purpose for each and every one of us to find peace and happiness. According to Revelation 21:4 “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain for the old order of things has passed away.”
